About Us
La Lluna London is a vibrant Spanish restaurant in the heart of Muswell Hill, serving authentic tapas, paellas, premium meats, Spanish wines, sangrias and cocktails. We pride ourselves on warm hospitality, energetic service and creating memorable dining experiences.
We're now looking for an enthusiastic Host (Front of House) to be the welcoming face of our restaurant.
The Role
As Host, you are the first and last impression of La Lluna. You'll welcome guests with warmth and energy, manage reservations and wait times, and ensure every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive.
This is a fast paced, high energy role where strong communication and multitasking skills are key.
You will also be cross trained as a Waitress or Waiter, giving you the opportunity to develop full front of house skills, support the floor team during busy periods and build your experience within hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience
- Greet guests warmly and professionally
- Manage bookings and walk ins efficiently
- Handle waitlists and communicate realistic wait times
- Ensure guests are comfortably seated and well looked after
- Maintain a positive atmosphere at the entrance and throughout service
Service Support
- Assist the team during busy periods
- Help coordinate takeaway collections smoothly
- Communicate clearly with managers and floor staff
- Ensure the front of house area is clean, organised and welcoming
Environment
- Thrive in a fast paced and sometimes high pressure setting
- Stay calm and professional during peak service
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
